I was under the impression that they understood I'd had the thing forever (I mentioned it several times in my correspondence). It wasn't. I pointed that out as well as the fact that I wasn't aware the thing had a warranty at all and I was just happy they were going to replace it out of a commitment to good service. First of all, the headset would not stay in my ear no matter what, without an ear loop. A week later, I get a call from them - saying that my warranty had expired a month prior and they wouldn't replace the headset. The NoiseAssassin is very effective (provided you don't have a beard. I was actually pretty stoked since I didn't expect that sort of offer.
or a very thin beard at most). Eventually, I found sound Jabra ear pieces that fixed all my fit-problems and I had a pretty decent experience with the headset since (also, the styling matched my Switcheasy Serpent iPhone case exactly, which was cool). However, about 9 months in, audio coming out of the headset started sounding distorted and buzzy. Since I have to buy a brand new headset now, I'm going to go with Logitech, whose products and customer service ALWAYS exceed my expectations.
I bought the Jawbone 2 when it came out because it was supposed to be the best headset out there. So I gave them my information and faxed them a copy of my receipt (I ordered it directly from them, I should add). It took a week of email tag since they claimed they couldn't open any of the files I emailed to them (including PDF's and even a plain-text file), so I had to fax it from work (who uses faxes any more). What. First, they had me perform a reset on the headset. That's absolutely unacceptable. I don't mind that so much but the ear loops that come with the headset are too short, so the headset has a habit of slipping until it points straight down or falls off. Guess not.
It got worse and worse until I set it aside because I couldn't understand people any more, just using the clunky iPhone earbuds instead.Recently, I contacted Jawbone support to see if they had any ideas, explaining that I'd had it since it first came out. When that didn't work, they said they'd replace it. Instead, I would up being lied to and having my time wasted. It's partially my fault for waiting so long to get a hold of them, but customer service people really shouldn't go making promises they have no intention of keeping. This was my last Jawbone.
I love this bluetooth headset. It works great and the noise canceling works like magic. Highly recommend it.
I wish I had read the reviews on Amazon for this headset before buying from my cell provider. All I can say is this, after constant complaints of poor volume and the constant fading in and out of my wife's voice when she used it, this headset will meet a gruesome fate with a hammer. If I could I would give it 0 stars.
I am so disappointed, I have had 2 other bluetooth headsets in the past both from Motorolla and both work fine with my phone. I saw how highy rated Jawbone was on all the tech sites and decided I had to have one. Unit did not work no one could hear me on the other end of the call. I guess I will go back to the $20 dollar motoralla, becuase they just seem to work.
Your designers had wisely choosen to abandon your predecessor's terribly brittle metal earloop design which were constantly snapping in two in my pocket when not in use, upgrading you to a presumably more durable plastic loop. I tried to overlook this obvious flaw, as I quickly went through the four differently sized earloops that came with you, despite the fact two of them didn't fit me at all. She came with a clever battery-powered charging case for your pocket, and perhaps best of all didn't use an earloop. She may not have quite the sound quality you had, baby, but she could stick with me through an entire conversation. But ultimately you were just too high maintenance. It wasn't going to work out.
But to my surprise I quickly discovered you had the same fatal flaw. An upgrade. I couldn't handle the repeated trips to Jawbone's site to order more packs of $15 ear loops, and I had to put you down. But what's this. I loved your slimmer profile. I did try all the sizes, but we just didn't seem to fit, baby.
I thought your sound was even clearer that the Jawbone 1. Sure, it started out well enough. She was slimmer, lighter, sleeker. And I can honestly say it's not me, baby, it's you. It may sound crass, but I admit I immediately went looking for a replacement. Beneath that plastic veneer, you had a brittle metal prong as well, no more durable than your predecessor. We had some good times, but I've moved up in the world. I was thrilled; we could start all over again.
I can't help but look longingly at your sleek, handsome design.I poured over reviews of your clever noise-cancellation technology, but ultimately, Jawbone 2, I we were destined to split. and I found it on Amazon. The Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Earpiece (Black)[Retail Packaged]. She could go all weekend on a charge. We got back together, and again things were good.for a few days. 925 and I are very happy together, even now, months later. And things were great in the beginning. I gave you to my father.
there's a new silicone in-ear replacement to do away with the loop. I tried to make it work, I really did.but the way you just kept falling out of my ear mid-conversation, well it was just plain rude. I'm not looking back. Perhaps he'll be more understanding of your flaws.
